Are you a top rope climber who is ready to take the next step?
This is a 2-day course is designed for top rope climbers who want to learn to lead climb and belay.
What you will learn:
- Lead climbing technique & safety
- Lead belay technique & safety
- How to efficiently & safely clip quickdraws
- Rope management
- Common mistakes while climbing or belaying
- Lead falling
- Lead catching
All equipment provided. You may bring your own harness, shoes, chalk, and approved belay device
A day pass is included with this class to practice your new skills

Group size: 2 person minimum, 4 person maximum
Duration: 5 hours divided into 2 sessions
- Thorough understand of how to top rope and have a Sender One top rope belay card
- Ability to routinely climb 5.10b without falling/taking. At least 6 months climbing experience preferred.
- Participants must be 14 yrs of age or older
- Arriving late severely impacts the flow of this course. No entry permitted more than 5 min after the start of class. Rescheduling permitted.
- If only one person signs up for this class it will be reschedule.
- Cannot take lead test same day as class
- Non-refundable, non-transferable
