Accelerated Lead Climbing

Format: One 5-hour class

You’ll learn and practice:
- Lead climbing technique & safety
- Lead belay technique & safety
- How to efficiently & safely clip quickdraws
- Rope management
- Common mistakes while climbing or belaying
- Lead falling
- Lead catching
All equipment and gym access for the day are included.
This class is for climbers who:
• Have a Sender One Top Rope Belay Card
• Can consistently climb 5.10b without falling or taking
• Have 6+ months of climbing experience recommended
• Are 14+
Class details:
• Please arrive on time. We can’t admit participants more than 5 minutes after class starts.
• At least 2 participants are required. If only one person is registered, we’ll reschedule the class.
• Lead Belay Test is taken on a separate day.
